Felt Jewelry Online is now FULL for 2020! This class begins on May 1 2020.  The online class session runs for until May 31, 2020.

Felt Jewelry Online is open for you to work at your pace, and complete at any time through the four weeks of the workshop.

Art to Wear! Design your own fine felt jewelry -bold and flamboyant, with the emphasis on colour, or refined and elegant in neutrals with highlight colours to add visual interest.

This is a beginners level class, or for more experienced feltmakers who just want to take a fun online workshop, making something beautiful! We learn about making flat felt, flat felt with inclusions, making multicoloured beads and balls, plus felt cords and resists. And then we put them all together into beautiful, contemporary felt jewelry. The different components we cover can be combined to make necklaces, bracelets, cuffs, pins, and rings.

The class modules can be accessed by logging in to the online classroom, where you will also find support videos plus downloadable PDFs with lots of pictures and informative text.  I will be answering questions and giving comments throughout the course in the online classroom, until May 31, 2020, allowing all participating students to learn through one another’s projects. 

Students can expect to take 12-16 hours to work through all the class materials including making a great range of felt bead styles and then finished jewelry items.
